Anyone try this yet? My little is suffering from really bad gas, trying to find the culprit….. I have just started eliminating dairy (well am starting with whole dairy not going too hardcore yet to see if it helps or not), been about 3 days so far I read an article today that said babies get gassy from bacteria and fined in their gut which isn’t passed thru breast milk so no need to change diet. Their digestive systems are changing so much at the mo that’s what makes them gassy, breast milk is very easy to digest so shouldn’t cause any problems. Look up breast feeding basics on facebook for great info from an amazing lactation consultant with years of feeding experience. I almost decided to start cutting things out but then I read that eliminating thing from your diet should almost be last resort. So I don’t really know which way is better. It is quite beneficial tho to introduce different foods and flavors through your breast milk. I decided to try gripe water and soothe LO by rocking him, laying him in different positions (laying on his side seems to help him release gas easier), and massaging his belly.
